Bio:

Saliha is an energetic and progressive HR leader, with over 18 years’ experience in Executive and Consulting roles from both the private and public sectors in the UK, UAE and working respectively with stakeholders across the globe. She is also a active board member of a multi-million dollar environmental consultancy in the UAE and a law firm in the UK. She is known for her passion in engaging and developing people of all diversities and a genuine influencer who thrives on tough challenges to translate vision and strategy into HR initiatives that improve performance, profitability, growth and employee engagement. Most recently she set up five venues for BOUNCE throughout the Middle East, creating over 350 roles for young passionate individuals who love getting up and coming to work. A Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), CMI and a qualified Mediator, coach and Associate Arbitrator (ACIARB), with a master’s in human resource management, Employment Law and Leadership studies at Oxford Said University. Sal shares a passion for the legal aspect of HR as much as for organizational optimization, talent management and employee engagement. Having turned around loss-making companies into profit centre’s through her grasp and understanding of the business requirements and working closely with CEO’s and leadership team to add value. Sal has carried out many successful workplace mediations in the Middle East and UK resolving conflict and saving the organisation’s reputation and costs and create successful collaborations with people with an aim to ‘make a difference’. COVID Support: During lockdown, Sal has been supporting those who had either been made redundant or furloughed and carried out pro-bono clinics, offered one-to-one support, coaching and continued mentoring HR professionals globally.
